Dedicated Delivery Dates

We work hard, and are constantly improving our production processes, to make sure that we complete your garments WHEN we say we will. Our unique Dedicated Delivery Date system is designed to ensure that we can physically produce as many garments as possible - for as many different customers as possible - for when they are actually required.

It is a very pro-active system which means that rather than simply passively waiting to see how many orders come in [or blindly quoting a specific lead time regardless] and then simply hoping we can produce it all on time, we actively work with you to make sure you know exactly WHEN an order has to placed [as well as when payment has to be received] in order for us to complete the garments on time.

Crucially by giving preference to certain groups of customers at certain times of year, we have been able to improve our efficiency immeasurably [eg by ensuring that we have sufficient capacity to cope with the spikes]. Although it is not a perfect system [it particularly benefits you if you are able to plan ahead], we believe it is the only way of dealing with the realities of the marketplace [with most customers requiring their clothing at exactly the same time and often for the same event].

In order to give the system some backbone we actually publish these dates and are able to let you have them in poster form [either in .pdf format to circulate electronically or as a laminated hard copy which can then be put up in the boat / club house]. In order to give it credibility we also offer compensation if we fail to complete an order on time [providing the garments were ordered by the cut-off date and the payment was received on schedule] - please ask your Account Manager if you would like further details about this.
